Let’s dive into Xamarin navigation basics, look at Prism concepts and then explore what a ViewModel-driven solution might look like. Victor is going to make the case that it’s the only way to adhere to the MVVM pattern.

Victor Johnson started in the mobile space as the co-founder of Playtend, a native iOS shop. His apps were featured on the App Store homepage, put on dozens of Apple curated lists (Staff Favorites, App Store Essentials, Apps For Kids, etc), were downloaded by millions of users and earned nearly $1 million in B2C App Store revenue. Following Playtend, Victor contracted at Polaris Industries where he got a crash course on Xamarin Forms and C# by Scott Colestock of Marcato Partners. Since January 2015, he has focused on building Xamarin Forms/C# solutions for cross-platform apps.
About the Group
Led by local developers, the Minnesota Enterprise Mobile User Group is a place to come together to share knowledge, experiences, and lessons learned with the development community regarding enterprise mobile development, with a focus on mobile cross-platform application development and the Xamarin toolset. Our goal is to cover all areas of the Enterprise Mobile landscape.
