July Topic – Creating Simple Animations for Mobile with After Effects and Lottie
We’ll be walking through creating a very basic animation for your mobile project using Adobe After Effects. Then we’ll preview and export the animation using the Lottie json animation format, and show how the animation can be utilized in your app. I’m definitely not an After Effects expert, but I want to show how using it to create simple keyframe animations can enhance your projects.
Lottie is super lightweight and versatile. It can be used across Mobile, Web and Desktop. This is a good tool to have in your toolkit!

Joe Bowser is a mobile developer with over 5 years of Xamarin experience. His focus has been primarily on front end mobile development. Like many developers in this space he has also had to dabble in the UI/UX space to bring projects to life.
